Important Closures A-20/A-720 eastbound
Important hindrance will be put in place on autoroutes 20 and 720 eastbound during the fall 2016 until 2018. These closures are necessary for the dismantling followed by the reconstruction of the autoroute 720 eastbound, between Turcot interchange and avenue Atwater that will become the new national route 136.
This hindrance will have important impacts on traffic. Users are invited to use public transportation or commuting and to change the trajectory. To choose the best option for you, visit the section Mobility Montréal of the website Québec 511.

Mid-October 2016 to 2018
This closure is necessary in order to connect this ramp to the new eastbound with a new temporary structure.
As of October 17, 5 p.m., until 2019
Complete closure of one of two lanes leading to ramp 138 Eastbound (towards Montréal) to Highway 20 Eastbound.
Note that there will be a complete night closure of the ramp October 15 and 16 to proceed with the reconfiguration of Highway 20 Eastbound. In case of inclement weather or operational constraints, the construction work could be postponed.
November 2016 to 2018
The traffic will be detoured on the first two lanes of the new route 136 eastbound and the temporary structure between Turcot interchange and the exit no. 3 – Rue Guy, Montréal (centre-ville).
Mid-November 2016 – during 12 to 15 weekends
The Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des Transports is informing road users that repair work of the Macdonald overpass from Poultry Cottages rd. above railway tracks and Highway 20, will pursue repair work starting May 8, 2017. It should be noted that the works, which were paused during the winter, began last November.
